How can we help you? – Hunter Industrial

 Troubleshooting

My fan is not working.

Perform a power cycle by cutting power at the electrical breaker(s) to the fan(s) and by unplugging (if applicable)  the digital wall controller for 5 minutes. Return power to the fan(s), then return power to your digital wall controller. If the fans will not turn on after performing this operation, ensure there is no error code displayed on the digital wall controller, and please contact our Hunter Technical Support Team.

I am not seeing all my fans on my digital wall controller (for 430/500/700E Series HMI).

First, log in as an Admin using the code created during initial install/commissioning. Next, select the General tab, select Number of Fans, and then enter the correct number of fans for the facility. If done correctly, all fans will appear when returned to the Home Screen.  If further assistance is needed, please contact our Hunter Technical Support Team.

My digital wall controller will not power on.

Hunter Industrials wall controllers receive power from the variable frequency drive (VFD) via a technology known as POE.   Ensure the wall controller is connected directly to the Lead POE VFD COMM 1 48VDC port(refer to your install guide for pictures/instructions – this Drive will have a white background around the Communications Port). If the digital wall controller is still not powering on, please contact our Hunter Technical Support Team.

I am receiving an OHT/unable to connect to IP 61 error – this is a communication error (usually upon install). Ensure there is power at the electrical outlet  the VFD is plugged into. Ensure all wiring and cables (including Cat-5) is securely plugged into the appropriate ports on the VFD and digital wall controller.  If more than 1 fan, ensure there are no matching IP addresses per daisy chain.  If there is a matching IP address on a daisy chain, please contact the Hunter Technical Support Team.

I am receiving a EF3/SAF error.

This error is directly linked to a fire alarm. If testing of the fire alarm system was performed, or a fire alarm occurred, perform a power cycle by cutting power at the breaker(s) to the fan(s) and unplugging (if applicable) to your digital wall controller for 5 minutes. Return power to the fan(s), then return power to your digital wall controller. If the error code remains,  ensure the fire wire on the terminal strip of the VFD is secure. If you are installing fire wire, and your fan does not shut down upon alarm refer to the installation guide, and repeat the steps as instructed. If further assistance is needed, please contact our Hunter Technical Support Team.
