BEFORE INSTALLATION:
Prior to opening the Nashville location of Rock’n Dough Pizza + Brewery, Jerry Corley had three of Hunter Industrial’s HVLS (high-volume, low-speed) fans in his Jackson, Tenn.-based Hub City Brewing, including two 12’ XP fans and one 14’ XP fan.
As he planned to open Rock’n Dough Pizza + Brewery, Jerry wanted Hunter Industrial’s fans in the new 5,000 square-foot space, but he didn’t need fans quite as large as the ones in his brewery. The Hunter Industrial team recommended that Jerry try Hunter’s newest, smaller model: the Trak fan.
AFTER INSTALLATION:
Two of Hunter Industrial’s 84' Trak fans were installed inside Rock’n Dough Pizza + Brewery. The Trak, ideal for commercial or residential spaces, not only pushed air throughout the entire space but offered an aesthetic that fit the vibe of the new restaurant. 'People love the look and design of the fans,' said Jerry Corley.
Jerry also noted that the installation of the fans proved seamless and simple. 'We were very pleased with how easy the fans were to install. Our electrician even commented on how simple the installation process was. The team at Hunter Industrial was unbelievable to work with.'
In the colder months, Jerry turns the fan rotation on reverse to effectively push the heat at the ceiling down to the guests and workers on the floor. This term is called 'destratification' and is a great benefit to operating HVLS or residential ceiling fans during the winter.
Jerry plans to enclose the restaurant’s patio space in 2020 and install two more Trak fans in that area.
